Apple’s iPods have blown the mp3 player competition away like a tornado in Kansas. With unbeatable marketing, Apple has turned the iPod into more than just an mp3 player, but an integral part of the average person’s day. In our high tech society, the iPod now is even an important part of traveling. With a billion accessories, here is a run-down of the necessary iPod travel accessories – or at least as necessary as an iPod can be.

Road trippin’ – iPod auto accessories

This new video iPod is capable of playback, video playing and better organizational features. You can get the iPod video in both 30 GB and 60 GB models. It also has the ability to play at a much higher resolution than previously seen. A 16 bit screen and the capability to display all kinds of videos are a few other features. Some of the other new features is it has a world clock, a stop watch, screen lock application, smaller earphones, a small slip case, and fire wire cable.

The new video iPod also has smaller dimensions than previous iPods. Even though the dimensions are smaller, the screen size has increased. The video iPod is also thinner too. Hard to believe that it is capable of doing more things, but they make it smaller and thinner than before. The battery life was also increased to 16 to 20 hours. Just remember that if you are watching videos it will use the battery life up quite a bit faster.

It is amazing to see how quickly things can evolve. Look at the amazing things that have come just since the launching of the iPod five years ago. It’s hard to imagine what they will come out with next, but I’m sure there will be something new for us to look forward too. There will always be that competition to be the best on the market.
